Born and raised in Germany, where all of my family still lives.
Soon after I came to the US, became the single mother of 2 little boys.
Went through University and Medical School with 2 years interruption for the birth of my daughter.
Graduated in 1972 from KCOM in Kirksville, Mo. with a degree of D.O.
Since 1973, in Kent, Ohio, solo General Practice, with Obstetrics for the first 20 years.
My "claim to fame": Helped establish the NATUTAL CHILDBIRTH Classes in this country.
I am a true people person, enjoy learning as well as teaching.
Once I could afford it, travelled much. Usually started with a visit of my family in Germany, and from there to many other countries. Went by plane, railroad, bus, tram, car, ship, and bicycle.
I enjoy the outdoors, save museums, art galleries, and churches for bad weather days.
Since my children flew the coop, there is time for more personal interests, like hiking and biking, snow or water skiing, and tennis,.
I read extensively within a large scope of interests. My priority is spending time with my 7 grandchildren.
